Glasses of Wine Part of Our Extensive Wine Collection Champagne

Connoisseurs of wine know that the flavors of the vine are enhanced by certain foods, such as cheese and chocolate. Experience this for yourself in our café, where you can pair our decadent chocolates with a selection of fine dessert wines from all over the world.

The subtle notes and aromas of both chocolate and wine are incredibly complex, but creating the ideal coupling needn’t be daunting. The Rimini Selection of imported Italian dessert wines provides the perfect complement to our other luxurious indulgences. And when paired with the perfect chocolate, they create an incredible flavor experience.

Included in each of the following descriptions, we recommend some pairings for your enjoyment.

  • Convento Cappuccini Dolcetto D Acqui, 2004
  • Convento dei Cappuccini has a long history of winemaking, starting with the original “convento” in the early 17th century. The current owner, Pier Luigi Botto, has continued his family’s centuries-old tradition of simple, clean winemaking, yielding a deliciously fruity wine characterized by a noticeable flavor of blackberries and raspberries.
  • For the Rimini Experience, we recommend pairing it with a creamy chocolate mousse with fresh berry compote.
  • Rosa Regale Brachetto d’ Acqui NV
  • This unique red sparkling wine—aromatic with a hint of rose petals and raspberries—is delightfully vivacious and festive. With its sweet, tantalizing flavor, Rosa Regale is tailor-made for chocolate. This wine is truly one of the few wines in the world that marries perfectly with chocolate.
  • For the Rimini Experience, we recommend pairing it with chocolate covered raspberries.
  • Bartenura Moscato d'Asti, 2005
  • This wine’s brilliant gold color hints at its pleasantly sweet taste, with ripe flavors of apple and peach and an infusion of roses. Moscato’s amazingly fragrant bouquet is reminiscent of rose petals and lychee fruit, with a fresh grapy character that is easy to recognize. The best examples combine creaminess with a bright, refreshing fruitiness and a crisp, lingering finish.
  • For the Rimini Experience, we recommend pairing it with pistachio gelato in a milk chocolate shell.
  • Amarone Della Valpolicella, Bolla, 2003
  • Derived from the Veronese word for “dry,” Amarone is both rich and robust, with flavors of cherries, raisins, plums, tobacco and spices. Amarone is made exclusively from selected grapes grown on dedicated vineyards with the best microclimate, sun exposure and soil type.
  • For the Rimini Experience, we recommend pairing it with Black Forest cake with a ruby port glaze.
  • Pellegrino Passito di Pantelleria, 1999
  • Passito’s golden yellow-orange color and complex and elegant bouquet are reminiscent of dried fruit and apricots. Its flavor bursts with rich, intense fruit that lingers.
  • For the Rimini Experience, we recommend pairing it with dark chocolate blood-orange cannoli.
